Algot & Sticklingkompisen

Freelance project where I illustrated the children’s book Algot och Sticklingkompisen by Ingela Ek. Aimed at children aged 3–6, the book is a picture book with factual elements that revolves around how Algot learns to care for a small coleus plant, from cutting to fully grown plant.
 

My goal with the book was to highlight the humor and warmth present in the text and create illustrations that invite the reader to linger on each page. I achieved this through a warm color palette and detailed illustrations.
