Grodd is the Swedish word for Sprout which is the small nutrient-rich seed that grows up to the large plant, Sprout is the beginning of something new. For my thesis project in Graphic design I created the clothing company Grodd. It breaks society's unhealthy gender norms towards children with the help of imaginative and colorful patterns and motifs, with a focus on including what is otherwise excluded.

   The purpose is for all children to be able to take part in gender-neutral clothes that contain both masculine and feminine expressions. Pink is a color that is excluded from gender-neutral clothing as there is a perception that boys can't wear pink, when that is not the case. Sprout instead mixes these expressions and takes the children on a journey of discovery into the imagination that encourages an exploration of their own expressions.
